Today, Matt, along with producer Max Hornig, welcomes Cas Anvar and Dominique Tipper, two stars of the Amazon Prime original Science fiction Space Opera, The Expanse.
The Expanse developed a strong following during its three seasons on The SyFy channel. After SyFy canceled it, Fans took up arms and persuaded Amazon Prime–where each completed season streamed after airing, making the platform partly responsible for fans finding the show–to pick up The Expanse as an original series.
Cas Anvar plays the Martian pilot Alex Kamal, and Dominique Tipper is badass Belter Naomi Nagata, the engineer of The Rocinante spaceship. In our interviews at the Philadelphia Comic Con from April, both explained that filming of season 4 has been complete for a while, with no news on when the series is set to premiere, except that it is expected later this year.
Now then, you may be asking why I am airing this show today? Because today, The Expanse is holding a long-awaited panel at San Diego Comic Con. And, with The Expanse releasing stills from the 4th season late Thursday (July 18th), the speculation is that some BIG announcements are going to come from that panel. So I thought, we can’t be there in person, why not join in the fun and share this with you today?
